Overview

Since Stance’s inception, they’ve been experimenting, pioneering and creating a new future for artists and athletes across the world. After 15 years of building a legacy, Stance took the opportunity to bolster this history by means of a brand refresh, a refreshed .com design, and an integrated campaign spanning Digital, Social, CTV, Print, and OOH wildpostings.

To celebrate Stance’s 15th anniversary, this in-house campaign – heroed by a :90 anthem film – highlights select individuals from Stance’s “Punks & Poets” roster and touches on what it means to be ‘Stitched Different.’


Production Process

Developed entirely in-house, this campaign was more focused on amplifying the existing ethos of the brand moreso than inventing something new. 

The brand refresh employed logo & wordmark refinements, as well as a suite of updated design elements including brand typeface updates, hand-drawn elements, motion elements, and a robust system of design templates.   


The content capture – both photo & video – were approached in a cinema verite format in which various subjects were individually captured over the course of a full day. Shoots took place in Fort Worth, the Greater Los Angeles area, Mexico City, and Salt Lake City as we accompanied Neen Williams, Nora Vasconcellos, Ishod Wair, and Spencer Schubert, respectively.


Additional campaign extensions included two event collaborations with Usal Outdoor Research Center, as well as OOH wildpostings in DTLA and Hollywood.
